Find Your Forever LarchSmith
Knife Friendly Surface | The “Self-Healing Effect” | Feather Grain Pattern | Handcrafted in the UK
Handcrafted in Maidenhead from Canadian larch (tamarack) — a wood chosen for boat builders and now for kitchens. End-grain construction is self-healing and kind to fine edges, softer than maple and more forgiving to Japanese knives, yet resilient enough for daily use and heavy carving.
Each Larchsmith board is made from kiln-dried heartwood, glued with food-safe adhesive, and finished by hand with mineral oil and beeswax. The grain varies board to board; the performance does not.
Canadian larch, end grain. Three sizes, one wood.
