Terms & Conditions: EkSeHandcrafted

1. The Contract

By placing an order with EkSeHandcrafted, you are entering into a contract for a handcrafted, bespoke culinary tool. We reserve the right to decline orders where timber availability or workshop capacity is limited.

2. Nature of the Product (The Artisan Variance)

Each Larchsmith board is a singular work of nature.

 * Variation: You acknowledge that wood is a natural material. Variations in grain pattern, "shimmer" (chatoyancy), and color are not flaws but the hallmark of authentic Canadian Tamarack.

 * Precision: While we use CNC technology for exact dimensions, final hand-sanding may result in marginal variations (+/- 2mm).

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in GBP. For Batch Releases, your board is only secured once payment is processed. We do not "hold" boards in carts due to the limited nature of our drops (e.g., Batch 01 | 10 Pieces).

4. Right to Cancel & Returns (UK Consumer Law)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

 * Condition: To be eligible for a full refund, the board must be unused, unseasoned by the customer, and in its original premium packaging.

 * Bespoke Items: Please note that any boards custom-engraved with personal names or specific dimensions outside of our standard Tiers are exempt from the right to return, unless faulty.

 * Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for tracked return shipping to our UK workshop.

5. The Larchsmith Guarantee (Faulty Goods)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if your board develops a structural fault (e.g., a split in the joinery) within the first 6 months that is not due to improper care, we will repair or replace it at our expense.

 * Exclusion: This guarantee does not cover damage caused by "Stewardship" failures, such as dishwasher use, submersion in water, or exposure to extreme heat.

6. Delivery

We ship via tracked courier to ensure the safety of your investment. While we aim for specific delivery dates, EkSeHandcrafted is not liable for third-party courier delays.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, the EkSe logo, and the Larchsmith branding are the intellectual property of EkSeHandcrafted.
